THE HUDIČEV GRABEN GORGE (DEVIL’S GORGE)

From the center of Dobrna you can reach a narrow, about a kilometer long gorge of the Dobrnica torrential stream after about half an hour or two kilometers of walking. The gorge was named after the Zlodej farm on Klanc, which also gave its name to the hill of Zlodejeva Reber. The name is really a bit scary, but for a modern man perhaps even more attractive because of it. Also from the perspective of a close encounter with an adrenaline experience. Along the way, we can observe numerous rapids and waterfalls, and, unfortunately, abandoned mills and saws, which with their picturesqueness still inspire visitors. A walk through such a gorge awakes the sense of connection with nature in a person, and above all the admiration of its mysterious power and beauty.
